Confidentiality

I am a member of and comply with the code of ethics of the Irish association for counselling and psychotherapy.

I keep any information you may give me confidential except with your or in exceptional cases of emergency or as listed in the code of ethics and I would speak to you about it first.

Duration of the therapeutic process

Some people may have specific issues on which they want to work and a short term contract is appropriate. Others have a more general area of concern which can more appropriately be worked with on a longer time scale. The length of the contract can be discussed at the start of working together. It can be added to and reviewed during our work together.

In our work together we will work towards your Therapeutic goals- work towards what you want to achieve for yourself at your pace.
