Psychosomatic Illness Therapy

IACP approved.

Psychosomatic Therapy is a deep study of how human experiences can create diseases and disorders in the body and supports and widens our awareness and understanding of these issues.

The core purpose of this therapy is to improve your own personal lifestyle and relationships with your family and in the community. Psychosomatic suggests the link between our mind and body. Our mental state plays an important role on our physical wellbeing.

The term Psychosomatic refers to real physical symptoms that may arise from or are influenced by our emotions. Psychosomatic illness may originate from or can be aggravated by emotional stress that we may be experiencing. Depression may also contribute to this especially when the body’s immune system has been weakened by stress.

Some may feel that psychosomatic conditions are all imaginary but in reality, physical symptoms can be real and may require treatment.
